CAPTURED MOMENTS

Breakaway

Posted on: July 7, 2007

Jake wasn’t too behaved on his 2nd day. He probably thinks of his classroom as a play room and his classmates as his new playmates. I guess he still needs time to adjust being with a bunch of kids in a school set-up where he cannot just do what he wants because there are simple rules to follow.

While they were doing an activity (walking in line around the room while singing a train song), that gave him and some of his classmates a chance to break away from the group… Trust him to be part of that splinter group jumping, laughing, running around, going under or over tables and just being plain “pasaway”.

I almost barged back inside the classroom to tell him off. Haay…

Naughty-naughty...
naughty naughty…

I’m sure it is going to be a riot on the first few weeks! They will slowly get into the groove and find out that there is a time for everything! ๐Ÿ˜€

am sure he is enjoying it…dont dampen his spirits…he is just acting like a kid with new friends as you said…remember this is just playschool…or is he in PMA already :)?

HI JERRY!
I could see that, grabe…. Hehehe… I hope so too.

HI JUNNIE!
Ay talagang enjoy sya, which is actually a good thing for somebody who’s new to the whole concept of school! I’m just not used to seeing him like that ka-active. I remember the elder sons were more reserved than hyperactive at that age. ๐Ÿ˜€ Either nanibago lang ako or it’s been a long time since I last had a pre-schooler.

hahaha…pareho talaga sila ni zia. mas malikot pa ang dalaga ko sa mga boys niyang classmate. ang palaging remark lang ng teacher ay ‘zia is too playful’ o diva pinaganda lang ang pagsabi ng ‘napakalikot ni zia’. i stopped giving her vitamins before school kasi feeling ko, dun siya nagiging hyper. before i did that, she only gets 1 stamp everyday, now, she gets 2 and the remark changed to ‘she’s a good girl today’. maybe you should try it too.

ay ya yay! Jake is just acting his age. He’s a kid! He doesn’t quite comprehend what rules are and why they’re there for. Don’t worry, Mom! You have a smart kid and he will learn and adjust quick.

It is always like that especially on that certain age. I think we used to be like that as well

let’s not say he was not behaved, let’s just say he was behaving as though he were really excited–all new to him. share with him his excitement, share with him his fun! soon, he will adjust. fact is, he is a happy boy.

bilis ng panahon!!!

he must be having the time of his life ๐Ÿ™‚

Don’t forget boys are boys, no matter what. Besides, Jake is still in his formative years?

This early, don’t look at my Jake as a minitature adult. He is barely three years old. Totoy pa yan! Maybe a reminder lovingly said will help him behave well. ๐Ÿ™‚

HI MAY!
Vitamins nga kaya? His are Cherifer and Ceelin. Even sa stamps, di sya maka-hintay. Hahaha. He keeps saying: “Me, me, me!…”

HI BEBOT!
I was hoping he would be part of the more behaved group. Hehehe… I’m going to observe him in the next few days.

HI CHASE!
You’re right. If Jake is over-active, I must be over-reacting. Hahaha!

HI SEXYMOM!
Nicely put! At one point we were also hyperactive over something. I guess this is a better problem to have than having him cling to me the whole time.

HI ANP!
Feeling ko nanganganay ulit ako. Hehehe…

HI PAPARAZZI!
I know that boys will be boys. I have 3 remember? ๐Ÿ˜€ Yup, a reminder lovingly said was all I gave him (kahit medyo gigil na ng konti). Ahahah!

well, i have friends na ni-recommend ng doctors nila yung ihinto muna yung vitamins kasi nagiging hyper active nga sila kaya feeling ko it’s true. ginagawa ko nalang, sa hapon ko sya pinapainom.

HI MAY!
Will observe him today. Kaso nakainom na. Hihihi… Tomorrow try ko sa noon time ang vitamins. ๐Ÿ˜€

haha, pasaway ba… hey, what’s with the keycode – pasko – it’s not even ber months yet!

HI ANALYSE!
Getting more behaved na each day pero still very active and impatient to receive his activity materials.

Hahaha! My keycodes are things that bring happy thoughts kaya kasama ang pasko. ๐Ÿ˜€

like i always say, mas gusto ko naman yata ang bata na active kesa sa bata na nakaupo lang sa isang sulok at hindi nakiki-interact sa ibang bata ๐Ÿ™‚ just give him time siguro to adjust to the rules and routine. if the school is as good as you say it is, maituturo naman nila ng mabuti ang sense of discipline sa kanya ๐Ÿ™‚

once jake recognizes the authority of his teacher, i’m sure he’ll be less pasaway. iba daw kasing authority meron ang teachers compared to parents. parents still tend to spoil kids so our kids tend to try to bend rules. in time jake will get used to the school routine and all.

another milestone… pretty soon, college boy na si jake!

He is just three, let him have fun. After all, childhood years are just few. But of course, he also has to know that there are limits. ๐Ÿ™‚

Sooooo cute! So hyperactive! Hahahahaha! Reminded me of my older son at the same age.

HI MEEYA!
Come to think of it, I’d take an active kid over a timid one anytime. I think I need to adjust seeing him act his age and being playful and all… Hehehe.

HI JOJO!
I guess I set the bar a bit too high. I’m giving him more time to adjust to this new environment.

HI MONINA!
Waah! If only I could stop time for a moment…

HI JULIE!
I guess you’re right. In time he will learn to follow rules.

HI DONDI!
Sometimes I’m tempted to reprimand him. Other times, I find his guts amusing… Hay, boys…
