Christmas tree @ Gustavian, originally uploaded by gratitude.

An early Christmas treat arrived in my inbox a few days ago. I received an email invite for some Christmas snacks sampling at the Gustavian for last Saturday.

Jerry and I went. The wide array of food items rendered us full right up to dinner. Hehe… some snacks huh!

Tried the following: turkey with jambalaya filling, pineapple ham, chicken liver pate, meat loaf, and some pastries. Eggnog and glogg were also served for free. It was my first time to actually taste these drinks.

We liked most of what we tasted but we particularly liked the pineapple ham and bought a few hundred grams. This should set the mood for Christmas. Look I even changed this blog’s masthead and avatar to reflect the mood. πŸ™‚

Love the banner! Wow! Christmas is definitely in the air.

That place looks inviting.

Thanks! Feeling Christmas-y over here but I haven’t started shopping yet. πŸ˜€ Still waiting for the 13th month pay. πŸ˜€

Eggnog? di ba yan yung masarap na biscuit πŸ™‚ ?

naks! pa champagne champagne tasting na lang….please buy one for New Year! sarap i-pop niyan!

pasko na dito, pati code pang-christmas. the place looks nice πŸ™‚

Eggnog is rum-based, I learned. And, I’m sure you know, is also a winter drink just like the glogg.

Namamasko po! πŸ™‚

The store looks so cozy!

It has a really nice ambiance for quiet lunches or dinners… πŸ™‚

Seems like a cool place to shop. Where is it located? If it’s in Cebu, hope they have branches in Matro Manila.

Despite all the merrymaking and commercials, I hope we really put CHRIST, the real celebrator, in Christmas! πŸ™‚

Vivat Jesus!

Ang gandang xmas tree. Sabi ni rommel wag na daw kami magdedecorate para makatipid pero bibili parin ako ng 1 xmas tree na maliit…yung pang table lang…ang lungkot naman kung wala e.

I can totally feel the holiday vibe in your pictures, Linnor!

I believe it’s the only outlet… πŸ˜€ Sayang…

Of course, that goes without saying…

What are your Christmas plans over there at SG?

Hehehe…. There’s no stopping Christmas now…

i used to be the one who shopped for the goodies we were giving away to family friends for xmas. i miss it! well, i miss pinas xmas in general, hehe.

I know what you mean… There’s nothing like Christmas in the Phils… Saya and very family-centered.
